Nondiscrimination
The Institute for Leadership Education, Advancement, and Development, Inc. (I-LEAD) does not discriminate against students, prospective students, employees or applicants for employment, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. I-LEAD admits students to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities accorded or made available to students at the school, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other legally-recognized bases.
Public Charity
As an institution of purely public charity, I-LEAD renders all of its services without charge to those who benefit from the services and without regard to their ability to pay. I-LEAD applies or reserves all revenue, including contributions, in excess of expenses in furtherance of its charitable purpose or to funding of other mission-related public charities pursuant to § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. I-LEAD’s directors do not receive any compensation, and the compensation of its officers and employees has never been and will never be based primarily upon the financial performance of the institution. I-LEAD has adopted as part of its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws provisions that expressly prohibit the use of any surplus funds for private inurement to any person in the event of a sale or dissolution of the corporation (I-LEAD) as a purely public charity.
